Bacówka in Schaumburg is definitely a place worth coming back to. The food is always fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, so fair warning — come hungry, haha. The service is wonderful as well. Agnieszka is always so kind, helpful, and happy to recommend the dish of the day or suggest what’s best. If you’re craving authentic Polish flavors, I wholeheartedly recommend Bacówka.

Bacówka never disappoints! The Dubai crepe was absolutely incredible — rich, perfectly balanced, and honestly tasted like something straight out of a Michelin-star restaurant. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation.
And a special thank you to Kasia — our waitress was unbelievably nice, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Her service truly elevated the whole experience.
Great food, amazing service, wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My Uber driver was from Poland and said this was the best Polish restaurant in Chicago. He was right. The mushroom soup special was fantastic. Great place.

This restaurant is awesome. Delicious polish food, amazing friendly stuff and beautiful decor. We stop there whenever we are close for some food and recently had ap rivate event in the newer space which turned out to be 10/10. Guests loved the vibe and food. Highly recommend for a lunch dinner or for a bigger party!

My husband and I have been coming to this place since it opened. Still going strong! Love the new decor and the food is still amazing! Our server Marysia was so helpful and recommended some specials which were delicious. I had the Mexican soup and the chicken rolls special and my husband had the Hungarian goulash with beef. She helped make our experience a very special one. We can’t wait to keep coming back to this neighborhood gem.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bacówka Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff and loved the warm and festive atmosphere.
The service was outstanding. The manager, Agnieszka was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. Before we even had time to settle in, a complimentary appetizer arrived at our table — fresh, and delivered within five minutes. It was such a thoughtful touch!
Every dish we ordered was flavorful, and generously portioned. The food genuinely made me crave Polish cuisine all over again — authentic, hearty, and satisfying. One of the highlights was the mulled wine, served in the cutest cup perched over a little candle warmer, adding to the restaurant’s charming, festive feel.
Bacówka also has a large section dedicated to hosting parties, complete with a fully stocked bar, making it an excellent choice for gatherings, celebrations, and friends’ nights out.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Bacówka Restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Polish food, warm hospitality, and a place that just feels good to be in.

Very nice upscale interior design, plenty of seating, and 2 bars is also a huge plus. The food has that homey and cozy feel to it. Much like having your grandmother make you a nice hot meal. I stopped in to check the place out and did not regret it in the slightest. For an appetizer I had the pierogies of course. Pan fried they were very delicious. For an entree I went with the pork shoulder which came with all the fixings. Very tasty and using the different shredded veggies added a nice complexity to the taste of the pork. Mashed potatoes were nice and smooth. Nothing negative to say here. The two bartenders Irene and Natalia were very nice and easy to talk to. Very attentive as well. Definitely will be coming back soon
